In November I finished Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi, Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas and Destroy Me by Tahereh Mafi.
The books are linked to their goodreads page!

Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi
Juliette hasn’t touched anyone in exactly 264 days.
The last time she did, it was an accident, but The Reestablishment locked her up for murder. No one knows why Juliette’s touch is fatal. As long as she doesn’t hurt anyone else, no one really cares. The world is too busy crumbling to pieces to pay attention to a 17-year-old girl. Diseases are destroying the population, food is hard to find, birds don’t fly anymore, and the clouds are the wrong color.
The Reestablishment said their way was the only way to fix things, so they threw Juliette in a cell. Now so many people are dead that the survivors are whispering war – and The Reestablishment has changed its mind. Maybe Juliette is more than a tortured soul stuffed into a poisonous body. Maybe she’s exactly what they need right now.
Juliette has to make a choice: Be a weapon. Or be a warrior.

Juliette is one of the characters that I most identified, she is the type of person who thinks too much and is also insecure. I love Adam, he is affectionate with Juliette and I like him more than Warner. Warner is cruel and I did not like his "games" with Juliette.
The author's writing is beautiful, her writing is very metaphorical which made it magical.
I liked the book to have more points of view, like Adam's.
As for Destroy Me, as we have Warner's perspective, we know is past and understand his actions in Shatter Me.
With this book I started to like and feel compassion for him, but I still team Adam.
Both books are quick to read and I recommend to anyone who likes dystopia and romance.

"The moon understands what it means to be human.
Uncertain. Alone. With craters of imperfections. "
- Shatter Me

Kingdom of Ash (Throne of Glass - Book 7) by Sarah J. Maas

Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass - Book 1) by Sarah J. Maas
After serving out a year of hard labor in the salt mines of Endovier for her crimes, 18-year-old assassin Celaena Sardothien is dragged before the Crown Prince. Prince Dorian offers her her freedom on one condition: she must act as his champion in a competition to find a new royal assassin.
Her opponents are men-thieves and assassins and warriors from across the empire, each sponsored by a member of the king's council. If she beats her opponents in a series of eliminations, she'll serve the kingdom for four years and then be granted her freedom. Celaena finds her training sessions with the captain of the guard, Westfall, challenging and exhilarating. But she's bored stiff by court life. Things get a little more interesting when the prince starts to show interest in her... but it's the gruff Captain Westfall who seems to understand her best.
Then one of the other contestants turns up dead... quickly followed by another. Can Celaena figure out who the killer is before she becomes a victim? As the young assassin investigates, her search leads her to discover a greater destiny than she could possibly have imagined.

Warning: Contains spoiler from the book Empire of Storms!

This book made me cry several times, but I also laughed and made my heart melted.
After reading Empire of Storms I was not prepared emotionally for this book and for what had happened and what was going to happen with Aelin in Kingdom of Ash.
When the book arrived I started to read because I wanted to know what happened and at the same time I did not want to because it is the last book and my favorite characters could die. My favorite characters are Aedion, Lysandra, Elide, Lorcan and Evangeline.
I loved seeing Lysandra not let Aedion treat her badly. It broke my heart to see the way the Aedion treated Lysandra because they are my favorite couple.
Elide became very bad ass and I loved reading her point of view. Her chapters and Lorcan's were one of my favorites.
As for Aelin, seeing her locked in the coffin and being tortured by Maeve and Cairn broke my heart.
I liked the book to have the various points of view, because then we can see what was happening with all the characters.
The world the author created is incredible and I was happy the way she finished the story.

"Be the bridge, be the light.
When the iron melts, when flowers are born from the blood fields - let the earth be a witness and come home."
- Kingdom of Ash
